LANCEMENT DES BLACK VEES DE MONTRÉAL DANS LA USPHL PREMIER & ELITE
A HIGH-QUALITY PATH TO THE NCAA AND U SPORTS
The MONTREAL BLACK VEES is a junior hockey organization, based in Montreal. An evolution of a 20-year-old school hockey program, the BLACK VEES are improving their position in junior hockey by joining the largest junior league in the world, the UNITED STATES PREMIER HOCKEY LEAGUE (USPHL). The only league to offer junior hockey on three sides of the border, in Quebec, Ontario and the United States.
Champions of the NPUHL in 2022, Vice-Champion of the NAPHL in 2023 and first in the USPHL ELITE (Northern Prep Division) in 2024, the BLACK VEES are a reference in development hockey in Quebec. We were therefore one of the first programs contacted to join this new division.
This participation in the USPHL PREMIER - Canadian Division will open a direct path to the NCAA and U SPORTS for our players. The visibility, development and performances offered by BLACK VEES HOCKEY will be the turning point in your junior hockey journey.
The USPHL has 121 teams in three levels of competition: Elite, Premier and NCDC. The FIRST is a springboard to the NCAA and U SPORTS.Vous organisez des soldes, la visite d’une personnalité ou un autre événement ? Veillez à l’annoncer afin que les visiteurs en soient informés et ne laissent pas passer l’occasion.
The PREMIER category competes with 61 teams, ranked in 9 divisions that cover the four corners of the United States. The Canadian division will become the 10th division and can places players to NCAA D3, ACHA and the NCDC, NAHL, etc…
The USPHL is the largest junior hockey league in the world, with more than 121 teams across North America
The Canadian division of the USPHL PREMIER offers junior-caliber hockey on three sides of the border. We play our games against other Canadian teams from Gatineau, Sherbrooke, Hawkesbury, Cornwall, Kingston, Brockville and Smiths Fall.
We will play 30 games in “Home-and-Home” format and also in “Showcase” format, which are played within our division.
Of the 44 regular season games, 14 games are played in the United States, in showcase format, during the four PREMIER showcases in Wayne in New Jersey, Marlborough and Tyngsboro in Massachusetts and Hudson in New Hampshire.
These games are played inter-division, against American teams.
Each year, around three hundred USPHL players are recruited by D1 and D3 programs of the NCAA and also D1 programs of the ACHA. The USPHL offers incredible visibility for young hockey players and the BLACK VEES offer this vehicle to all Eastern Canada players aged 16 to 19.
